Paul has worked in the clothing and related industries throughout his entire career. His experience is wide ranging and includes various technical roles, including research of new yarn technologies with Courtaulds UK and independent textile testing for the Hosiery and Allied Trades Research Association in UK, plus a senior buying role for one of the Courtaulds knitwear businesses in UK.
Paul later worked for a significant number of years as a business improvement consultant on a wide range of apparel and textile projects within the UK but also extensively overseas in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Europe. It was in this role that Paul recognised the very significant need for improved planning in a supply business.
In 1999 Paul was part of the management team, which successfully carried out the management buyout to form Fast React Systems.
As Technical Director Paul has evolved the Fastreact product from its earliest form to an advanced and capable ‘World Best’ solution, incorporating sophisticated automatic planning for businesses and planning scenarios that would be impossible to handle manually.
