Fast React Systems Enjoys Continued Success in India
Just over one year after entering the Indian Market, Fastreact Systems working with their local partner Industrial Sewing Systems, are enjoying strong demand for Fastreact planning and management control solutions.
ISS Director Mr Ravichandhran comments, “We now have numerous systems up and running in India with industry leaders such as Celebrity Fashions and SM Apparels in Chennai, SP Apparels based in Coimbatore, LT Karle, Madura Garments & Arvind Garment Exports in Bangalore. Most recently we have started working in Delhi and are implementing Fastreact Evolution at Orient Fashions.”
Ravi explains further, “Most manufacturers are enjoying unprecedented success in the booming post quota Indian economy, however, the wiser companies are fully aware that booms can be short-lived and the reality is that their ongoing success is dependant on continuous improvement and innovation. As with all manufacturers in the post quota environment our customers have been faced with multiple challenges of needing to rapidly increase available capacity, reduce lead times and improve productivity while still remaining in control of the business and satisfying their customers ever challenging demands. Fastreact is helping to give our customers the competitive edge they need for success beyond the boom”.
Fastreact was featured in a recent issue of STITCHWORLD magazine (www.stitchworld.net) the leading Indian Apparel Technology journal, the magazine interviewed two Bangalore based users, Integra Apparels and LT Karle, about their experiences with Fastreact.
Here is an excerpt...
“Though there are many solutions in the market and both companies investigated a few before deciding on Fast React, the transparency in operation which the system provides worked in favour of the system. Both companies are satisfied and the return on investment has been phenomenal”. Says Krishna Kumar (Integra Apparels), “We expected payback in 18 months time and we are on course to better that.” Gokal Chittaranjan (LT Karle) is even more enthusiastic, “Fast React typically quotes a ROI of under one year. However, considering our monthly wage bill, a 2% improvement of our monthly efficiency (by just improving our planning) can provide a ROI under 3-4 months (I have only considered direct wages- not overheads, increased sales, etc).”

Simon Gibson of Fastreact Asia comments, “We are delighted that our Indian customers are confirming the benefits we know are readily achievable…companies are finding that ERP systems do not help with the complex production planning task and that traditional manual / spreadsheet based systems can no longer cope as lead times reduce. As our users in India demonstrate, even in Bangalore with it’s wealth of IT resource, in-house or bespoke development just doesn’t make sense; why “re-invent the wheel” when Fastreact can be up running and returning your investment in a matter of months.”
