Andrew Brown – Managing Director

Andrew has almost 25 years experience in the Apparel, Footwear and Textiles industry. In the 1980s he held both technical and production management roles with premium quality knitwear manufacturer, Jaeger Knitwear in the UK, whilst also studying Textile Technology at Nottingham Trent University.
During the 1990s Andrew progressed to a management consultancy role, focused on business performance improvement with specialist Apparel and Textiles focused consultancy company Ben Johnson-Hill Associates. In this role, he worked extensively with a wide range of Apparel and Textile companies including premium brands such as Pringle of Scotland and Ballantyne Cashmere, also internationally on consultancy projects with companies such as TAL Apparel in Asia.
In 1999 Andrew was part of the management team, which successfully carried out the management buyout to form Fast React Systems. As Managing Director, he has been responsible for the growth and expansion of the business to overseas markets and has established further extensive knowledge of manufacturing and sourcing operations in numerous countries and cultures.
Andrew plays both a very active and a key strategic role within the business, which through extensive ‘hands on’ research, helps to shape the development of the Fastreact product range for the future.
